If you see the chance to catch an opponent off guard to use a Kamehameha you should do so. They will not have a plan for how to deal with it, and if it connects, you can deal a large chunk of damage.

Use it to Destroy Structures

You can use the Dragon Ball Fortnite Kamehameha to handle hostile interactions against enemies or when trying to break down walls for loot. Place your equipped Kamehameha in Utility Slot 2, with your weapon in Slot 1. At best, popping it off might help you evade one potential shot, but you are still extremely vulnerable during the ASMR dance. There are no special interactions or advantages to using the Kamehameha emote beyond the fun afforded by emotes in general.

Can Break Through Enemy Defenses

The Kamehameha Fortnite ability allows you to break through enemy defenses and hit all targets in your line of sight. If you see an opportunity to hit multiple targets carrying items, such as powerful weapons, charging the Kamehameha can quickly break their structures to pick them off. Use with caution as the Kamehameha requires a long charge time, but it is slightly quicker than using a pickax.

Enemies may have built fortifications that they are hiding in behind cover. Firing through their fortifications directly to them with the Kamehameha is a very effective way to kill them. Very few materials are strong enough to withstand the Kamehameha unless they build walls in a “V” shape or pyramid to spread the energy effects. This is not easy to do quickly, providing you a good chance at hitting them during the few seconds of vulnerability.

If you do not have any additional weapons, the Kamehameha is a good option for you to close the distance between you and another player. Because it is an energy attack it can give away your position, which may not be good when trying to sneak up on other players. A better option in this case may be using the energy from the Kamehameha charge to build a limited structure to get close, from which you can switch to shooting and focused structures to surprise them.

A yellow charge shot can be released with a right-click to check the charge damage which is if the charged Kamehameha is aimed away from afore-mentioned flick that raises damage by up to 60 units. The mid-charge state is not erratic as the high-charged or zero hold Kamehameha beams are. Only the final throw does erratic damages.

Leaves Player Vulnerable to Attacks

Performing a Fortnite kamehameha move from Dragon Ball Z leaves a player vulnerable because they cannot attack or defend while performing the emote and moving their character. The Mixed Reactions emote lasts for 8 seconds, meaning that if fired during an engagement, the Fortnite player will be unable to perform any actions for these 8 seconds.

This time and the fact that the maneuver is rather flamboyant and leaves a user wide open makes this move impractical during real gameplay.

According to Comicbook.com, the Kamehameha is stronger than Thor’s Stormbreaker. By far the best way to counter the Kamehameha in Fortnite is to ensure you are underground so that D.B. Cooper loses sight of you and is forced to fly low to try and find you. He will run out of time before he manages to disrupt you. Using the nose to destroy D.B. Cooper’s drones while remaining underground is equally effective.

Use Building to Block the Attack

Building in Fortnite is essential to kamehameha attacks from the cliffs on players below safely. Players who learn to master the material usage can stop at the exact right time before overshooting and can move and aim when in a vulnerable position without falling to their death.

Build quick horizontal protection so you can gain time to recover health, secure height, or try to flee the situation. The opponent’s kamathrow will leave him exposed as well, use this time to turn the tables.
